Curriculum Content Overview
In physics, our students develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning, through the opportunity to investigate scientific phenomena, and knowledge, through research, practical work, independent study and excellent teaching from subject specialists. We challenge our students to solve problems and apply their skills to other contexts and everyday situations.
Building upon the knowledge students acquired in KS2, we teach physics throughout KS3, offering students a choice of Combined Science GCSE or Physics GCSE at KS4. This culminates in the offer of A Level Physics at KS5. For examinations in both KS4 and KS5, we follow the AQA specifications.
