On Thursday 30 June, 4 teams of students from Years 9 & 10 set out on their Bronze DofE expeditions. They had spent several weeks learning about route planning, navigation, menu planning, first aid, campcraft, to name just some of the skills learned and were finally able to put their knowledge to the test.

No expedition would be complete without a team getting lost, which just adds to the fun, and all 4 teams willingly obliged on the first day! Not content with that, one team encountered some over-inquisitive cows and called upon Dr. Harrison for assistance. She readily approached the task at hand and earned the title of 'The Cow Whisperer' from a very grateful team!

Much fun was had en-route, by students and staff alike and all involved seem to have had an amazing experience. The final team will be undergoing their expedition shortly.
