We launched this year's Duke of Edinburgh Award with our information evening on Wednesday 19 October. We reinstated the DofE scheme two years ago and have seen it grow exponentially, with 30 students completing their bronze award expeditions back in June. 

Mrs Bisley is our resident DofE expert; she informed the audience of more than 50 interested students about the hope to run expeditions in Thetford Forest, along the North Norfolk Coast and Lincolnshire Countryside. From our expressions of interest, we are hoping to have another 11 new bronze and 13 new silver award participants. The evening was supported by some of last year's DofE expedition students who shared their experiences of camping, hiking, and talking to cows!
