On Monday 23 January, seventeen Year 10 students took part in a Songwriting Workshop provided by IEMusic.  Students learnt how to develop their songwriting skills, working in groups to create their own original pop songs in a range of musical styles. 

It was amazing to see how their confidence grew, and to witness their fantastic performances of their own material.  After this had taken place, Year 10 options students joined Liam and Kyle from IEMusic to watch a series of performances, and some students were invited to join them in performing on stage. 

It was an excellent day for everyone involved.
