Norfolk Careers and Skills Festival

Posted on 9th Mar 2023

On Wednesday 8 March, myself, Mrs Bisley and driver Andrew Craven took a small group of students from years 9 and 10 to the Norfolk Skills and Careers Festival. There were lots of wonderful stalls to visit including a cookery demonstration, firefighters, hairdressing, and Norwich City College.

The students had a wonderful time talking to the people running the stalls and carrying out some quick Science experiments. The Prison Service stall was very popular as we were able to try on handcuffs, try out a riot shield and have cuddles with the beautiful Buddy, a sniffer dog. Another extremely popular stand was the free ice-cream where you could try your hand at making your own ‘Mr Whippy’ style .

The only problem was there was just not enough time to see everything!

Roll on next year.
